MHO Insurance services was created to respond to the growing need for competitive insurance products
for the economy and independent lodging industry. As we see an ever-growing need for the smaller
independent hotels to have the backing of a franchise like MHO Hotels. We also see the need to
implement existing insurance products and work on creating new ones to serve this class within the hotel industry.

Mr. M.Z. Patel is a deeply experienced hospitality management leader with strong industry ties and wide, profound business knowledge.
He is actively involved with leading industry associations and has successfully guided the development and growth of new initiatives within the industry. An experienced hotelier, he was previously an ambassador for the Eastern region of Asian American Hotel Owners Association and is currently an active member of the organization’s Awards Committee. From his many associations and memberships, he has an impressive list of contacts.
Mr. M.Z. Patel owns nearly 20 hotel franchises, including a Skybridge Inn & Suites in Bordentown, New Jersey as well as a Days Inn and Best Western in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. He also owns Knights Inn properties in Monroe, North Carolina plus Cartersville, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. Additional properties includes a HoJo Inn, a Comfort Suites, a Comfort Inn and a Four Points branded hotel and properties in other service-related industries, including a frozen yogurt store.
Nicholas Pineda, has over 30 years industry experience, exclusively in the hospitality insurance niche.
Mr. Pineda has held a variety of positions encompassing all facets of this class of business. Over the
years has worked for some of the largest brokers in the united Sates. In 2017, he merged his operation
with EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants to form Northwin Insurance Services. EPIC, is currently
ranked 15 th largest independent broker in the US. He is working on an exclusive consulting basis to
oversee the growth and operations of MHO Insurance services.
